Permission Pilot is an innovative application designed to assist users in reviewing app permissions on Android devices. As Android updates introduce more complexity to permissions management, navigating the various locations where these permissions are displayed can be challenging.

The current system presents permissions in multiple areas, including:

• Permissions Manager
• And more...

Permission Pilot addresses this issue by consolidating all permissions into a single interface, providing a comprehensive overview of app permissions.

The application offers two distinct viewing modes: users can choose to see all permissions requested by a specific app or view all apps that request a particular permission.

Apps Tab:
This section displays all installed applications, including system apps and those tied to work profiles. Selecting any application reveals a complete list of permissions it has requested, encompassing those found in both the Permissions Manager and Special Access, along with their statuses. Notably, this includes internet permissions and SharedUserID status.

Permissions Tab:
Here, users can explore all permissions available on their device, also highlighting those from the Permissions Manager and Special Access. Permissions are grouped by category for simplified navigation—such as Contacts, Microphone, Camera, etc. Clicking on a specific permission displays all applications that seek access to it.

The app enhances usability with features such as free-text search and filtering options across both apps and permissions.

Notably, Permission Pilot is free from advertisements and does not engage in tracking or analytics. Users have the option to make an in-app purchase to support development and remove an occasional donation prompt that appears after several launches.
